In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of setting up a productive and easy-to-maintain salad planter—perfect for balconies, patios, or small backyard spaces. Best of all, you’ll take home your own planted container, ready to grow and harvest!

This step-by-step session will guide you through:

How to set up your planter

How to add soil, sow seeds at the right depth and spacing, and water properly

The growing needs of lettuce and other salad greens

How to tend, care for, and harvest your greens

Tips on choosing the best varieties to grow for taste, texture, and season

All materials are provided, including containers, soil, and seeds.
