CULINARY MEDICINE SERIES: NOVEMBER COOKING FOR GRATITUDE, SIMPLICITY AND COMFORT
CULINARY MEDICINE SERIES: NOVEMBER - COOKING FOR PLEASURE, SIMPLICITY AND GRATITUDE
Every other month our co-founder, Emma Rollin Moore (NTP) offers a culinary medicine cooking class at Heritage. Culinary medicine is the idea that we can give special attention to how food works in the body as well as the sociocultural and pleasurable aspects of eating and cooking.
The holidays can conjure up a variety of feelings centered around entertaining and pleasing. With this in mind, we will prepare a simple, plant forward meal inspired by giving thanks and honoring the season of gratitude and celebrations. We will also highlight tips for creating ease, comfort and warmth with whole food, nutrient dense goodness for the holiday season.
