CULINARY MEDICINE SERIES: SEPTEMBER SHOPPING THE FARMER'S MARKET AND EATING THE RAINBOW

$95

New at Heritage Goods and Supply! Each month we will offer a culinary medicine cooking class. Culinary medicine is the idea that we can give special attention to how food works in the body as well as the sociocultural and pleasurable aspects of eating and cooking.

For our SEPTEMBER class, come learn how to shop the farmer's market and eat the rainbow. Emma Moore, NTP and co-founder of Heritage Goods and Supply will highlight the importance of eating at least 30 plants a week as well as how to shop, prep and cook from the farmers market in the late summer/early fall.

For this class we will meet at Heritage and then walk to the farmers market on Linden where we will shop for fresh produce then we will come back to the store where we will prep our farmers market finds and make a simple plant forward meal to sit down and enjoy.

MENU TBD by what we find at the market. FUN!
