CULINARY MEDICINE SERIES: MAY - COOKING TO SUPPORT HORMONE BALANCE FOR PERIMENOPAUSE + MENOPAUSE - CARPINTERIA
Every other month we offer a culinary medicine cooking class. Culinary medicine is the idea that we can give special attention to how food works in the body as well as the sociocultural and pleasurable aspects of eating and cooking.
For our May class, come learn how food can support hormone balance for perimenopause and menopause. Emma Moore, NTP and co-founder of Heritage Goods and Supply will highlight how a variety of whole, nutrient dense foods can be used to balance hormones and improve metabolism, energy mood and more.
Menu Includes:
Seasonal Market Green Salad With Roasted Vegetables + Fresh Herbs
Hormone Balancing Farmer's Market Soup
Dark Chocolate Bark
Digestive Support Herbal Tea Tonic
We will make and create and then sit down to eat our dishes in communion with each other. All food is plant based and gluten free.
When: Thursday, May 22nd, 6-8pm
Instructor: Emma Moore, Co-Founder Women’s Heritage and Heritage Goods and Supply
