Weaving Workshop

$125.00

This class is designed for beginners and will provide you with all of the tools and
instruction you will need to start and complete your very first woven wall
hanging. Class includes all materials, and a starter kit to continue your new love
for weaving at home.


Starter kit includes:
● High quality loom
● Warp thread cone
● Needle
● Heddle bar
● 2 shuttles
● guidebook with instructions and techniques.

All supplies and materials included, plus refreshments!

*Note: There is a 5 person minimum requirement for this class to proceed. If we do not reach 5 participants we will unfortunately have to cancel the class and refund you in full 48 hours before the scheduled workshop.

Join us for an afternoon of weaving wonderland with Chelsea CH Jones! Each class includes all necessary materials and a starter kit to continue your new love for weaving at home. Starter kit includes: high quality loom, warp thread, needle, heddle bar, two shuttles, a guidebook with instructions and techniques.

Chelsea is a fibers artist based in Santa Barbara. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a fine art degree specializing in Textiles, photography, and Wood-Block printing. After finishing college, she had the unique opportunity to study Silk Jacquard at the world-renowned Fondazione Arte Della Seta Lisio in Firenze, Italy. Being immersed in the silks and velvet's was the highlight of her educational career. All in all, she has over 5 + years of weaving experience in fibers and fiber arts.

These days Chelsea teaches local Beginning Weaving Classes and practices in her home studio-selling her weaving and art at local craft shows and online. She lives in Santa Barbara with her two cats (Mufasa and Bear). A few of her favorite things include: Open water swimming, learning about sharks and shark behavior, hiking in the mountains, true crime, The White Buffalo, collecting plants and vintage items, leather couches, hardwood floors and white walls with colorful accents.
